Daring The Impossible

When I was in the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, KL last night, I knew what I was watching. I was watching a legend. It is nice to see that Kelly Clarkson hasn't lost her touch, powering through her set like a true pro. I still remember when I was around nine, I would play and listen to her songs over and over again, every single day.
The winner of the first season of the famous reality show, 'Malaysian Idol', Jaclyn Victor, opened the concert with some of the tracks from her latest album, 'Jaclyn Victor III'. I was too, a huge fan of hers when I was young.
Anyway, Kelly Clarkson kicked off her 'All I Ever Wanted 2010 Tour' in Asia with her latest single from her album, All I Ever Wanted. The singer then performed a selection of hits from her previous albums and did cover tracks, including Kings Of Leon's, 'Use Somebody' and 'Lies' by The Black Keys. By the way, it was her birthday last night, and the crowd sang her a birthday song. Didn't think she could hear them.
I was screaming the lyrics to the songs throughout the whole night. I had a rocking great time, even though I was seated from a far distance. Kelly bid farewell and closed the show with her hit single, 'My Life Would Suck Without You'.

Somehow, I still prefer Panic! At The Disco's concert, which was held 2 years back. Maybe it's because I was less than 5 feet away from the band. Speaking of Panic! At The Disco, they will be releasing their third studio album this year. Too bad Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left the band.
Looking forward to seeing them again.

I am as vain as I allow.
