The music video for Lady GaGa's third single off The Fame Monster, Alejandro, is finally out. The video was shot and directed by fashion photographer, Steve Klein. I didn't really like the concept of the video at first, but after watching it for a few times, I did. In fact, I was pretty amazed at the visual effects and cinematography.
The video is about the pain of living life without true love, a woman's desire to resurrect a dead love who can not face the brutality of her present situation. No wonder, I felt deeply for this song from the moment I heard it.
In the video, GaGa loses her true love, Alejandro. He dies, presumably killed in war.
She then, becomes envious of the love gay men share with each other, and she yearns for this kind of love again, but can not find it. She seeks to be accepted by the gay men but they turn her away at first. Then, when she is herself, accepting and appreciative, she is embraced and accepted by them.
Strange thing is, I have always thought of Alejandro as the bad dude.
All in all, I enjoyed the video a lot and had a great time watching it. If you haven't, you're missing out a lot. A fantastic piece of pop art, I would say. Click here to watch it.

At this point I gotta choose, nothing to lose.
