A few nights ago, I attended The 'Yellow Night' Ball, which was themed 'Hawaii', at Jaclyn's with the Yellows. Accompanying me were Benny, Pei She, Sean Beh and Joe Yin.
What can I say? The night party had everything it needed. The ideal choice of music, the right food, not forgetting the guests who were present there and then. Everything was perfect, well almost. Yes, 'almost'. I'll get to it later.
It was also an opportunity for us to chill out and let out some steam & anguish, for one final time before we get back on our feet again.

The peak of the night was when we went deeper into the games. The first game of the night was introduced by Yuli, 'The Cheating Husband & The Possessive Wife'. Pretty weird, much? I was on the same team as Pei She. Of course, I didn't mind at all.
The game lasted for around 10 minutes, and Jaclyn ended up losing.
As punishment, everyone ganged up on her and threw her into the pool. Not knowing that she came up from the pool shortly right after that, she planned to plot revenge by pushing Sean into the pool. She succeeded alright, but unfortunately, Sean's iPhone that was in his pocket got wet and was corrupted. Ouch.
When I saw this, I figured it would be better for me to take precaution, just to make sure that the same situation doesn't happen to me. Therefore, I headed back indoors to place my expensive belongings, which I had with me. I'm sure you would do the same too.
I decided to take the shorter route, which went along the pool, not wanting to miss out the fun.
Out of the blue, I felt a sudden force that came right by my side, causing me to lose my balance and control. It was all a blur. Everything happened real fast. The next thing I knew, I was in the air. I took a deep breath, as I fell into the pool, just like that.
Still shocked, I quickly reached out for my mobile, which was deep beneath my pocket. I tried fiddling with the keys, hoping that it would be alright. Sadly, the screen failed to light up. Too late, I figured. The phone broke down ever since that night.

Luckily, the phone that I was using that night was a Nokia 3100. It was a really durable phone, really. It was a hand-me-down since 5 years ago, and I have been using the phone ever since.
Currently, I'm using a Nokia 6070, which served me really well last year, until it was rolled over by a car last September. Don't get me wrong. Nokia phones are really long-lasting.
But sometimes, the weak sensor points drive me mad when I need to use them urgently. I take that as a disadvantage.
All in all, I had a splashing great time all through the night. Lesson learnt, never bring phones to pool parties, unless you want to end up like Sean and I.

Notice how wet we were. Dang.
This could be all that we waited for.
